One of my earliest sketches. For me drawing Nagraj proved to be most difficult, second to Tiranga and Paramanu. Difficulty with Tiranga and Paramanu is with their mask whereas with Nagraj its his skin. Anyways this I had drawn in the summer of ’96.
Category: nagraj

Nagraj, in a way, was and is India’s answer to Superman. Nagraj was the first publication from Raj Comics. Its first five issues were written by Mr. Parashuram who later created Angara for Tulsi comics. Nagraj has innumerable snakes in his body. They reside in microscopic form inside him. Any kind of snake can become a part of his body. He communicates with them using telepathy. In this sketch I have tried to capture the telepathic communication.
